CHLOE' MARSAI - ARTISTIC VIRTUOSO
Chloe' Marsai has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. In Pre-K her teacher Mrs. Lawson at Martin Luther King Jr. Learning Center requested a Teacher-Parent Conference because Chloe' wouldn't do her work. She described Chloe' as doodling all the time. When her parents saw what she created, it was detailed characters, not doodling. So her mom, being an Arts educator herself, agreed to purchase Chloe' a sketchbook to use once her assigned work was completed. Moral of the Story: Embrace your child's God Given Talent.
Chloe' Marsai has been a professional artist since she was 12. Within Chloe' Marsai's first year as a professional artist, she was chosen to appear in the Beautiful Minds Dyslexia Exhibit at the John P. McGovern Health Museum. Her signature artwork, Sisterhood and In the Dark of 2020, were a part of a Digital Exhibit highlighting artwork chosen from Houston Area student submissions. Chloe’ is very passionate about her Art and has been overwhelmingly self-taught in her early years.
As a scholar at Meyerland Middle School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Chloe’ was chosen to take an invitation-only Animation Class, where she began creating her first animations. Chloe' Marsai has appeared in an Independent Short Film, Sweet Bitterness. Chloe’ won the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Glassell School of Art High School Endowed Scholarship for three consecutive years, The Houston Sun Foundation African Americans in the Arts Honoree, the Houston League of Business and Professional Women, Inc. Emerging Young Entrepreneur Award, and the I Love Myself Young Humanitarian Award.
Chloe is a scholar at the exclusive Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Chloe’ creates acrylic paintings, charcoal and watercolor artwork, digital prints, sculptures, art installations, and animation. She is passionate, focused, self-driven, and detailed about her Artwork. Chloe’ is a NAACP Houston ACT-SO Gold Medalist in Sculpture (2024) and Drawing (2025). She has earned scholarships to study at New York University Summer Intensive, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Summer Intensive, and the Atlanta University Center Art History and Curatorial Studies Program at Spelman College. Chloe’s career goal is to be an animator, filmmaker, and Professional Visual Artist.
